Thomas turns computer science students into web developers.

For the last four years, Thomas has been programming, managing projects, and training developers for the University of Central Florida. During that time, he has taught over 30 undergraduates. Almost all of the students that complete Thomas’ year long program are offered full-time web development positions.

Thomas attained his B.S. in Computer Science from UCF in 2006. He has extensive experience developing PHP/MySQL based applications and he is a CSS, XHTML, and accessibility expert. On the weekends, he enjoys reading, the occasional stroll in the park, and spending time with his friends.

If there is only one person in this world that gets paid to do what they love, that person is Jared Lang.

Jared has worked at the University of Central Florida as a student developer for the past three years. In this position, he has worked on numerous development projects and acted as a mentor for his co-workers. In addition, Jared has delivered several presentations for higher education officials and faculty at Educause’s annual Students, Technology, and Learning conference.  His knowledge of and passion for web development has continually proven to be an asset for UCF.

Jared is nearing the end of his last semester of undergraduate courses at UCF. Once completed, he will be awarded a B.S. in Computer Science. He has extensive personal and professional experience with PHP and Python. His most recent work is the open source document conversion tool Zombie.  Jared’s hobbies include the occasional fit of video gaming, reading, hiking, and programming.

Greg is an architect and jEdit is his drawing board.

For the last six years, Greg has worked as a developer for UCF. In 2008, he graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science. Over the years, Greg developed many applications with PHP/MySQL, but just recently, he fell in love with Python and Django. To hone his skill with those technologies, Greg worked with Rex to build IvyLees at night and on weekends. At his day job, Greg sets the standard of quality web development for his entire unit.

Off the clock, Greg enjoys an occasional ice cold beer and working on his many development side projects. It would take a battle hardened viking warrior to keep him from programming.
