Jared Lang

If there is only one person in this world that gets paid to do what they love, that person is Jared Lang.

Jared has worked at the University of Central Florida as a student developer for the past three years. In this position, he has worked on numerous development projects and acted as a mentor for his co-workers. In addition, Jared has delivered several presentations for higher education officials and faculty at Educause’s annual Students, Technology, and Learning conference.  His knowledge of and passion for web development has continually proven to be an asset for UCF.

Jared is nearing the end of his last semester of undergraduate courses at UCF. Once completed, he will be awarded a B.S. in Computer Science. He has extensive personal and professional experience with PHP and Python. His most recent work is the open source document conversion tool Zombie.  Jared’s hobbies include the occasional fit of video gaming, reading, hiking, and programming.
